This Time

This Time is a charming and thoughtful play that explores the strange alchemy of memory, longing, and the passage of time. Presented in both English and Hindi by Akvarious Productions (written and directed by Akarsh Khurana), the story unfolds at a college reunion held two decades after Alisha and Pranav went their separate ways.

Alisha, now a museum curator haunted by her past, and Pranav, a futurologist whose life is firmly rooted in expectations for the future, are forced to confront not just each other but a cast of old friends — people they once laughed with, loved, maybe even hurt.

As the evening progresses, what begins as a pleasant stroll down memory lane spirals into an emotional rollercoaster — filled with awkward confessions, wry humour, and the ache of “the ones that got away.” Through sparkling dialogue and vivid character moments, the play reflects on growing up, growing apart, and the unreliable nature of well-laid plans.
