Jashn-e-Qalam’s HAMAARI KAHAANI

Fitrati Chor brings to life Vijaydan Detha’s mischievous and morally piercing story of a man fated to thieve — not out of greed, but out of nature. In a society built on false promises, hypocrisy, and deceit, his unwavering honesty becomes his biggest curse. Performed by the versatile Vicky Ahuja, the piece carries Detha’s trademark blend of folklore, humour, and philosophical bite, offering a satirical look at integrity in a world that punishes truth-tellers more harshly than sinners.
Basayude ki Mariyam, by master storyteller Asad Mohammad Khan, unfolds a deeply human narrative that rises above religious borders and doctrinal divides. It imagines a sacred realm beyond ritual and dogma — a place where compassion alone defines belonging. Performed by the accomplished stage and screen actor KC Shankar, the piece resonates with tenderness and spiritual clarity, offering a meditation on love as the ultimate act of faith.
