Using her own body as the site of inquiry — a body that is female, fat, and fifty — Dogra dissects the pressures of aging and weight gain in a world ruled by ultra-fitness ideals, diet culture, influencers, surgical fixes, and the relentless churn of self-improvement. Through humour that is painfully relatable and disarmingly direct, she reveals how internalised patriarchy and the beauty–wellness industries shape our sense of worth, often in ways both intimate and invisible.
